About Me:My name is Stanley but most people call me Stan! I grew up in Brockville, Ontario but spent my summers at a camp in rural Quebec. It was there that I figured out the wilderness is pretty rad. This past spring I graduated from Queen's University with a degree in politics, philosophy, and economics and now I'm a full time traveller and all around life enjoyer. This off season I will be backpacking across Southeast Asia for three months with my partner, an adventure funded 100% by tree planting. Outside of travelling I enjoy climbing, I am a tea enthusiast, and I love movies -- though nothing beats a good joke.
When I first went tree planting in 2021 I had no idea what I was getting into, but I knew I wanted an adventure, and that’s exactly what I found! Planting will not only pay for you to chase your dreams, but it will help show you just how much you're capable of. Not to mention lifelong friendships and round the clock laughter with some very cool people. Like Lightning McQueen once probably said, "Go tree planting, you won't regret it." |
