About Me
I currently live in Fernie, BC, however, I am from Southern Ontario where I attended the University of Guelph. I recently went back to school to become a Paramedic and look forward to eventually becoming an Advanced Care Paramedic. I love travelling, renovating/re-purposing, hiking, canoeing, peanut butter, and occasionally all the above at the same time. I grew up working on a horse farm and quickly learned to appreciate hard workdays and being outside. Shortly after starting university, I began looking for a job to help me pay tuition, and I came across tree planting. Planting has carried me through my schooling and other passions and adventures. Tree planting is so hard that you must look within, find your push, find your intensity, and show up with it every day no matter what. This made me realize what I can achieve and how planting can positively influence my life in many ways. |
Industry Experience:
This will be my third year running a crew and my sixth year with Summit. I have been a driver with Summit for five years, and I also hold my OFA level 3 first aid. My crew had a successful 2020 season and I look forward to welcoming back most of the crew and new planters for another challenging, rewarding, and lucrative season in 2021.
