Goals and Expectations
I want my camp to be SAFE, happy, productive, and fulfilled. Everyone in camp is contributing to this goal and I will work hard to support each person in achieving it. Tree-planting is HONEST hard work. For our camp to be successful everyone must be motivated to be safe, respectful, and determined. Camp is a community and it’s important that we come together to support each other in challenges but also to celebrate and have fun! |
About Me
I grew up in Southern Ontario and attended the University of Guelph where I studied Nutritional Science. I was lucky to have grown up working with horses, working at the barn, and in Algonquin exploring the back-country. I was looking for a lucrative job to help me pay for school and travelling and discovered tree-planting. I have been planting ever since! After university I was excited to travel around Asia and Europe before deciding to go back to school to become a paramedic. I moved to BC a few years ago with my partner and two dogs. We love spending our summers in the bush and exploring the mountain with our skis in the winter. Industry experience
This will be my eighth season at Summit. I was a crew-boss for four amazing seasons. I grew with my crew working different contracts all over BC, Alberta, and Manitoba. Last season I had the opportunity to take on more responsibility in my role as a crew-boss and gained more skills in leading a safe, productive, and fun team. |
