About me
Hi! I’m Liam Radford and I’m a new Crew Boss! I was born in Kingston, Ontario, went to school in Toronto and now I’m living in BC. Before Tree Planting, I spent my summers as an Outdoor Educator leading wilderness trips all over Ontario. I’m a huge fan of canoeing and kayaking, especially White Water, and spent most of my summers in a boat when I was a teenager. In the off season I paddle, climb, snowboard, and spend time with my family in Kingston.

When I was 23, I got the opportunity to plant trees for the first time. It was HARD! I was experienced in the outdoors but this was a level up, the bugs, the mud, the long days rain or shine… or snow. But what stuck with me the most was everyone working together from the planters to the owners to overcome every challenge we encountered. I’ll be turning 28 this summer and couldn’t be happier I stayed in this industry. Nothing better than making money and working hard with some of my closest friends, being able to reach goals and overcome challenges, and most importantly, continuing to spend my summers outdoors while doing it!
Industry Experience:
- 3 years of Planting Experience
- 1 year Camp First Aider
- 1 year Rookie Trainer
- OFA 3, PAL, Primary Driver, and Quad Trained
