About Me:
Originally from Ontario, I grew up on a farm where I quickly became immersed in the outdoors and hard work. Eventually, while completing my bachelors, a friend introduced me to tree planting, and I was immediately drawn to the tough nature of the job. Planting allowed me to test my work ethic and push my body as I grew up doing, all well creating lifelong friends. I have been living in BC since 2019 chasing outdoor adventure through skiing and climbing, while continuing to grow with Summit. This season will bring new challenges for me and I hope to learn and create the most exciting and memorable season for my camp. |
Planting History
I began planting for Summit in my first year of university, this upcoming season will be my 8th in BC. I planted for three seasons and have been crew-bossing for the past four. During this time I have been lucky enough to work within many amazing camps and learn from the very best. I think this time with Summit has set me up for a successful first supervisor season and I cant wait for the season to come!
Goals and Expectations
My goal as a supervisor is to give each the planter the same awesome experience the planting was for me when I first started. I will work my hardest to ensure a safe, successful season for everyone by maintaining camp morale and camaraderie. To me, planting is about pushing yourself, helping others achieve and having a positive attitude every day. Brining all this forward and making each day a fun, memorable experience will make next season a successful summer.
