Celebration

Celebrate Treeplanting
Summit has been known to throw some good parties. These have not been parties for the sake of partying, but celebrations of the goals we have met, and of the great work that we do.
The Original "DJ 5-ton" party was held in the summer of 1995 at our camp on the Skunk Lake Road outside Mackenzie, BC. The occasion was the end of a great summer and all thirteen crews of the company came together, in celebration, until the early hours of the morning. Since then we have worked towards having a similar celebration every season.
In the past this has included a mix of excellent dinners, games, hot tubs, live music, DJ's and lots of dancing. Summit is known in the planting community not only for the excellent work we do, but also for our celebrations, both during the season and right at the end when we bring together as many crews as possible to throw one final Hurrah!
We are often fortunate to have the musical stylings of live bands, hysterically fun talent shows, tunes from the 'camp amps', karaoke nights and the amazing artistic presentations, music, dancing and more - of some very talented planters and staff. We plan to do it all again and are open to suggestions for all planters for what other events you would like to see in camp. Let your foreman know..
To get glimpse into our world feel free to look through our photo album. Send us your own photos to photogallery@summitreforestation.com.
