Training:
To ensure our employees are well-prepared, comprehensive training is provided at the beginning of each planting season. This training covers essential areas such as bear awareness, emergency evacuation protocols, emergency procedures, and safety measures specific to cut blocks. Planters are educated on their roles in maintaining our rigorous health and safety program. Summit's personnel are trained to various certification levels, including OFA Level III, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, FAC/PAL, and Danger Tree Assessment.
Health and Safety Program:
Our Health and Safety Program is an integral part of our operational approach, not an added feature. It was developed with consideration for all aspects of our operations. We uphold high safety standards through regular inspections, monitoring, reporting, and ongoing training.
