About me:
Raised in Canmore Alberta, the mountains and outdoors have always been a part of my life. I grew up playing any and all sports but quickly realized that I much prefer outdoor, mountain orientated activities. In the off-season I am a professional ski bum, but I also enjoy climbing, canoeing and biking. I love a good binge-worthy TV show, reading and my cat Norman.
I stumbled upon tree planting after the pandemic when I was tired of being stuck in my parents basement. The second I stepped foot in camp I was hooked and knew I wanted to make this my entire personality. Tree planting for me was revolutionary, it was brutally challenging, equally as rewarding, and in the melting pot that is a tree planting camp I found my most cherished relationships. The blood, sweat, tears, bugs and mud are all worth it for the lifelong memories.

2025 will be my fifth season at Summit and my third season as a crewboss.

Safety - Cut blocks are a nasty place, my goal is to send you back home to your friends and family in one piece.
Teamwork - Tree planting would be impossible alone, it is important that we work as a team, communicate and support each other.
Perseverance - Everything around you including your body will be telling you to give up, a good planter is able to drown out the excuses and continue pushing forward.
Work Hard Play Hard - Happy planters plant more trees. Tree planting is not just about numbers, it is an amazing experience stuck in the canadian wilderness surrounded by good company, try to have fun.
