About Me:
I was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta but have been fortunate enough to call a few places home. Ever since I turned 18 I’ve been working in the bush planting trees. In the off season, I love to travel, rock climb, run, play hockey and snowboard. During the season, I love to make music, boost up those around me, and make tons of money. By the time Next season rolls around, I will be 2 years into my carpentry apprenticeship focusing on finishing carpentry. Tree planting has given me the financial freedom to chase the things I love. |
Industry Experience:
This will be my 4th season with Summit. As a planter, I was a driver, and Camp First Aid. I have been lucky to work with the best planters, and the strongest leadership with Summit. I have also planted in Australia for 2 seasons as well as 2 other companies in BC and AB. That means I’m coming up on my 8th season!
What I expect from my planters:
Work ethic – Being goal orientated and holding high expectations of yourself is crucial to the industry. I’m looking for people who will give me 100% every day.
Attitude – Tree planting is one of the hardest jobs in the world. Mentally and physically. A positive attitude is essential to yourself and the crew.
Safety – We all want a full season, reckless behavior, and endangerment of other will not be tolerated.
Communication – Be open with me about the good and the bad. This is how we will learn and understand each other
What my planters can expect from me:
Safety – The Safety and well-being of the crew will be my top priority.
Dedication – My planters can expect a leader who will not stop until each of them are satisfied with what they accomplished this season.
Fun – What we do is not easy. I’m a firm believer in work hard, play hard.
“Its gonna suck, might as well make a lot of money”.
