About Me:
Born and raised in rural Southern Quebec, I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors. I grew up hunting as a kid and as I got older my hunting/backpack country trips got more elaborate and more remote. I’ve also travelled a far bit – I’m only half a dozen countries left before I get my 30 under 30. After my first year of law school, I needed to get out of the city and that’s how I ended up in the planting industry and I fell in love with the industry – the cubicles can wait. I’m currently in Montreal, studying for the Quebec Bar Exam but my mind is on the upcoming season. |
Industry Experience:
After a season and a half as an excellent planter, I had to stop due to old rugby injuries. Since I didn’t want to leave the bush mid-way through the season, nor back down on the commitments I made to myself and company, I asked about tree running. After learning the in’s and out’s of that position, I was able to make the jump to crewboss for a successful 2020 season.
Expectations:
I’m a hardworking guy – I expect the same from my planters. I put in 100% every single day and I do my absolute best to maximize your time in the bush all while making sure you stay safe and have fun.
I’m honest, fair, disciplined and very competitive. I like to push myself to my limits every day and I expect just as much from my planters.
It’s simple, when it’s time to grind … grind. We’re all out here to make money so act like it.
