About Me:
I grew up in the countryside of Southern Quebec and spent my childhood years riding horses and building sketchy treehouses with my brothers and sister. Currently, I live in Montreal and am on track to graduate in April (hopefully) with a bachelor’s in Biochemistry. Being in the city for the last couple years had me craving to be outdoors during the summers which is what drew me to tree planting. The summer job first started as a temporary escape, but quickly turned into a passion. I have learned more about life and myself through spending time in the bush than I ever could in school. My rookie season started off VERY rough. I was definitely taken aback by the intensity of the job and I was frustrated by my slow progress. I learned how to put up with a lot of difficult situations and how to lean on my crew for support. In the end, I got the hang of it, balled my crew, made precious connections and have been hooked to planting ever since. |
Industry Experience:
This will be my fourth season in the bush, but first year crewboss. I planted for the same crewboss three years straight who taught me a lot of the behind the scenes work that goes into planting. I have been primary driver and assisted my crew boss for the last two seasons.
What I expect from my planters:
What you can expect from me:
You can expect me to make the best out of every situation and have a laugh about it all. If you are looking for someone who will help your push your mental and physical limits while having the best time and making sweet dough, I’d love to get in touch. LEZZZZ GO!

What I expect from my planters:
- Work ethic - tree planting is a difficult job that will test you on multiple levels. If you put in the proper amount of work, it will reward you greatly. I am looking for planters who not only plant a ton of trees, but that will be consistent throughout the season.
- Attitude – THIS is key. A positive outlook on the whole experience is what keeps crews motivated. Learning to roll with the punches and making fun of difficult situations will make your season memorable.
- Teamwork – Many people interpret planting as a solitary job, but it requires a lot of open communication with your fellow planters. I expect mutual thoughtfulness between planters who will be your coworkers, but also ‘roommates’.
- Respect – this aspect includes a wide range of things; punctuality, cache etiquette, being open to criticism. Respect, in general, of yourself and others is critical.
What you can expect from me:
- Communication – My job is to guide your through the difficulties of planting. I am an open ear to your concerns and will work alongside you to resolve them
- Work ethic – I am a strong believer in letting my work speak for itself. I pride myself in working hard and making every day worth your time as much as mine
- Safety – Taking care of planters and making sure they are safe is the best way to guarantee a full and profitable season
- Attitude – I have witnessed bad attitudes from crew bosses and the strain it has on the entire team.
